ah.. look at the captured emotion, one can hardly start to define it (let it to critiques, I just need to recognize) and your face magnifies it to undeniably piercing amplitudes.
it would be one thing if this were a painting, I'd think that the artist either knows the feeling too well, or sees it too well. that's why bernini fascinates me so much..
but this is a self-portrait.. you can't imitate a gesture that strong without feeling it. can you? well maybe you can, I tend to see myself in people too much..
all that chaos inside in a resonance forming an incredibly fragile state with that much stress and strength
and there you go and capture it..
Really fantastic work. To me it looks like a scultpure that just came into life. There's really a lot into int, I think it all depends on how everybody is identified by the piece. I am also in awe with the image maipulation.
the eyes caught my attension... really good manipulation ... like the rustyness and the eyes .... the neck reminds me of ROTK Frodo at mount doom ... good selfportrait indeed ... you got really good art ... comment more later on save some goodie till later on... keep up the good work
im going to watch you from now
I love this piece...amazing textures and i dont think of them as too much at all....everyone has the right to their opinion....but ever one also has the right to create things exactly to their artistic liking....me i love this!
It reminds me of the woman who had those haunting eyes, the one on the cover of National Geographic, it won some award (I'm sans coffee right now, sorry). It is very powerful, knowing what decay is, watching the body do it, while the mind stays fresh and aware of what is going on, scary thought. Very nice piece.
