I was born during XXII Olympiad in Moscow. It was 1980 Year of the Monkey. Apropos of this merry occasion, my sister got a present – Olympic Kuzya. He quickly became our faithful playfellow, occasional apple of discord, an intimate observer of our quick childhood.
I’m 23. I no longer live in lethargic Dagestan, I use camouflage make-up to conceal crow’s feet, fine lines and wrinkles around my eyes. As for Kuzya… Who would have thought that plastic and oakum have such a galloping lifespan?! …
I brought Kuzya to Moscow, and later to LA, I showed him Amsterdam and Venice last spring, we went to Scotland and Berlin this Christmas. I’ll take him to Cuba, we’ll visit South America together...
Cheer up, Kuzya, we made it - Year of the Monkey has come again, it's our year, my friend. So let's have a ball
Great doll and frame. Great shot as always. What more can I say? Your work is always of such a standard its hard to fault it, and you just keep getting better.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
