Dostoevsky's Print Available

Description

First things first. I'm a PhD in Bioinformatics now. I had a somewhat boring defense with a somewhat expected success last Friday. No biggie. Events like that bludgeon my senses and dull the wit, hence no details about layers of intricate lore and narrative completeness of my presentation will follow. It is over, I'm a #$%#$ doctor now.

Secondly, there's a more feverish news - I found a print of my Dostoevsky's San Francisco among old scraps and test prints! The actual shot was buried alive on my harddrive that died last year. I thought it was gone, no back-ups were made and I was not hoping to find a decently sized copy. "Manuscripts don't burn", said Bulgakov and I guess some photoprints too.

It was a mediocre digital print but I carefully scanned and retouched what I had. It is now a hideously disfigured cripple with a magnificent make-over attempting to live a normal life.

This print appeared to be popular here on deviantart and I've received many request in the past few years, so in order to celebrate its rebirth, I thought I'd offer a print for those who enjoyed this shot. It will be an archival fuji crystal 11x14 print, shipped in a tube.

I thought I'd make it interesting and offer first 20 at $45 with $5 flat rate shipping. Please, e-mail me at myownself@gmail.com in case you'd like to have one.

Cheers,
- A

PS. I'll make sure that I update my devart account with new unseen work before the end of the year. Thanks for your support and patience. I'm glad I can now pick up my camera that has been collecting dust for the past few months.

I am quitting a PhD in bioinformatics because it's all so meaningless...

I find more truth in dostoyevsky's notes from the underground than in the whole academia.
